We treat spam and spontaneous garbage mail extremely seriously. This document outlines PL MART's policy on the use of our products/servers to send mass mail, as well as our approach regarding the protection and security of mailing records stored on our servers.

Assortment of Email Addresses

We do not collect email addresses from web crawlers, mailing-list services, spam lists, or other third-party sources. PL MART only collects email addresses of clients, members, vendors, users of our services, and others with whom we have a business relationship.

We collect email addresses only on an opt-in basis, and we use them solely for the purposes stated at the time of collection.

Sharing of Mailing Lists and Emails

We do not sell or rent mailing lists or emails gathered through our services. PL MART considers all mailing lists to be the property of the owner of the product or service for which they were collected. We do not share, sell, rent, distribute, or use mailing lists (in whole or in part) belonging to our clients.

We may store or replicate this information within our own servers as part of providing our services. At any time, the owner of the mailing list may contact us to have this information deleted.

We may respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes by disclosing your personal information and related data if necessary. We may also exercise or defend our legal rights when required.

Additionally, we may collect and share personal information and other available data to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, threats to personal safety, violations of PL MART’s terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.

Spontaneous Mailing (Spam)

We take spam and unsolicited mail very seriously. PL MART works hard to ensure that emails are sent only to individuals who have explicitly expressed interest in such communication.

Some of our services allow premium users to send emails to their own mailing lists. We offer these services in good faith, and it is our policy that any mailing list used must consist of opt-in emails that the sender is authorized to contact. Failure to follow this policy may result in the loss of mailing privileges or termination of the account.

Rules for Client Generated Email

PL MART's content rules are outlined in Section 3(b) of our Membership Agreement. Additionally, we require the following for any mailing lists or email addresses used with PL MART’s services:

• Inclusion in the list must be voluntary and intentionally provided by the intended recipient.
• The content and nature of the material being sent must be accurately described at the time of registration.
• Any request for removal from the list must be honored within a reasonable time (we may automate this process).
• If material of an adult nature is being sent, the list must be screened to prevent inclusion of minors.
• If the list has been obtained from a third party, the sender must ensure that the creator of the list complies with these conditions.
• If you have received any unsolicited or offensive material generated through PL MART's services, please follow the directions on the Spam/Abuse page to create an online report.
